Tetardise
Têtardise was made for The Overkill Festival 2023 as an internet roaming experience, use the wheel of a coffee mill to scroll the history of a web navigator. While you’re diving through websites in decomposition, a social network herd simulation will crawl in between digital data.Use a heart shaped button to make the individuals react to online content and find out the narrative in between the browser history.
In 2026, to celebrate A MAZE. 15th anniversary, we made an installation called A Scroll Down Memory Lane, using this same old mechanical coffee mill to navigate through 3500 pictures taken by Jens Keiner. Visitors could use the wheel to scroll the history of a web navigator diving into nostalgic memories of 15 years of A MAZE. festival. By using the heart shaped button they could share their liking and enjoy finding themselves while remembering the old times.
Collaborative project between playful artist Emilie Breslavetz, programmer artist Léon Denise and music computer artist Ralt144Mi as part of the incontrolab collective.
