Crashboard

Crashboard takes you through an epic ride among dancing bananas, sparkly butterflies and big yellow construction panels : an immersive surfing experience into the cyberspace.

Crashboard is a skateboard hijacked into a game controller. In the game, you have to avoid waves of operating system windows pop-up interface scrolling in your direction while catching GIFs coming from the retro GeoCities web hosting service. You control the player position by leaning on the skateboard. The aesthetic of the game is crafted from glitch, retro web design and error system.

Collaborative project with programmer artist Léon Denise and music computer artist Ralt144Mi as part of the incontrolab collective.
